Visa & SEEDS Academy partner to empower youth, advance sustainability

Kuwait’s SEEDS Academy has announced a strategic partnership with Visa, a global leader in digital payments, to empower youth and promote sustainability in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Kuwait Vision 2035.

The partnership will introduce a series of free online courses focused on the circular economy, designed to equip young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate today’s rapidly changing global environment. By embracing circular economy principles, SEEDS Academy and Visa aim to educate participants on sustainable development foundations and empower them to drive meaningful change within their communities, fostering a more resilient future for upcoming generations.

As a leading educational institution in Kuwait, SEEDS Academy is dedicated to advancing sustainability education throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The academy offers innovative courses and training programmes that cater to the needs of youth, professionals, and organisations. “Visa is committed to creating a digital economy for everyone, everywhere. An economy that is digital and inclusive is one that is also sustainable – it promotes efficient use of resources, fosters innovation in sustainable technologies, and provides access to more individuals and businesses to make a positive difference. That’s why we are delighted to partner with SEEDS Academy on this important initiative and to contribute to the Kuwait government’s efforts towards sustainability and an inclusive future,” said Carl Manlan, Visa’s VP and Head of Inclusive Impact & Sustainability for the CEMEA region.
