The Council of the European Union has approved the European Commission’s positive assessment of Luxembourg’s revised recovery and resilience plan, which now includes a new REPowerEU chapter. The updated plan, valued at €241.1 million ($268 million) in grants, prioritises the expansion of renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, and promoting sustainable transport. It allocates 80% of the available funds towards climate-related objectives, an increase from 69% in the original plan while maintaining its digital goals and social focus.
