Sustainability Economics Joins AIGCC to strengthen climate action across Asia

Sustainability Economics has officially joined the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), a network of institutional investors dedicated to tackling climate risks and promoting sustainable investment practices across Asia. 

The company, headquartered in Singapore and the United States with a development centre in Bangalore, collaborates with businesses to support transitions to clean energy systems and sustainable technologies. 

AIGCC, which represents over 70 institutional members managing a combined global asset value of $28 trillion across 11 Asian markets, focuses on mobilising capital to address climate challenges. Its initiatives are structured around three core areas including investor practice & capacity-building, stewardship & corporate engagement, and policy & advocacy. 

The organisation plays a critical role in advancing climate-related policies and integrating sustainability into the investment landscape across the region. 

As part of its membership, Sustainability Economics will participate in five thematic working groups, focusing on energy transition, engagement and policy, paris aligned investment, physical risk and resilience, and just transition.

These groups are designed to foster collaboration among industry leaders, enabling the development of actionable climate solutions.
