Shein, a global fast-fashion leader, has appointed Mustan Lalani as its Global Head of Sustainability.
Lalani, who brings over 14 years of expertise in sustainability and corporate affairs, previously served as Sustainability Director for North and East Europe at Tetra Pak. He is known for his leadership in climate change, biodiversity, circular economy, food systems, and ESG, Lalani has also been recognised for forging impactful multi-stakeholder partnerships.
In a LinkedIn post, he said, “Thrilled to step into my new role as Global Head of Sustainability at SHEIN. As one of the world’s largest fashion and retail platforms and a pioneer in on-demand fashion, SHEIN represents a disruptive model with the potential to drive sustainability at an unparalleled scale. My focus will be on embedding circularity, decarbonisation, and strategic partnerships into the core of the business.”
