AccountAbility and Tractivity partner to enhance stakeholder engagement

AccountAbility, a global sustainability advisory firm, has partnered with Tractivity, a UK-based stakeholder engagement and management software provider, to advance stakeholder engagement practices.

The collaboration brings together AccountAbility’s expertise in sustainability and governance with Tractivity’s cloud-based platform, which supports organisations in engaging with stakeholders and delivering insights.

Daniel Metzger, Director of Advisory Services at AccountAbility, emphasised the growing importance of stakeholder engagement in sustainability management. “Our clients increasingly recognise stakeholder engagement as integral to sustainability performance and impact. As an early pioneer in this field, we continuously refine principles to adapt to evolving challenges. Partnering with Tractivity ensures our standards and advisory work remain relevant,” he said.

Founded in 1995, AccountAbility developed the globally recognised AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (SES), a benchmark for high-quality stakeholder engagement. The framework provides practical guidance for integrating engagement into governance, strategy, and operations, with principles such as Inclusivity and Materiality helping organisations prioritise sustainability issues aligned with stakeholder needs.

Tractivity’s platform enables organisations to manage stakeholder relationships, track engagement, and derive insights to inform decision-making. Paul Rivers, Chairman of Tractivity, welcomed the partnership. “We’re pleased to work with AccountAbility to integrate the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard into our system. This collaboration underscores our commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and best practices in stakeholder engagement,” he said.

The partnership aims to equip organisations with tools to strengthen stakeholder relationships and enhance sustainability strategies in an increasingly complex business environment.
