Achilles signs Alberta Shipmanagement to strengthen supplier oversight

Achilles has entered into an agreement with Alberta Shipmanagement Ltd., a Greece-based maritime management company, adding the firm to its global supplier oversight and compliance network.

Through the partnership, Alberta Shipmanagement will use Achilles’ platform to strengthen supplier assessment, improve traceability and support alignment with regulatory and ESG requirements in the maritime sector.

“Greece represents a key strategic market for us in Southern Europe, and the addition of Alberta Shipmanagement strengthens our mission to promote safer, more ethical, and more resilient supply chains,” said Luigi Printsios, Account Manager at Achilles.

Alberta Shipmanagement said the move comes amid rising expectations for data quality and transparency across maritime supply chains. “The regulatory and sustainability landscape in the maritime sector is evolving rapidly. With Achilles, we gain a robust platform to systematically assess our suppliers, improve data quality, and boost our competitiveness,” said Iraklis Kyriakou, Chemical/Environmental Officer.

The agreement reflects ongoing efforts within the maritime industry to enhance accountability and resilience across supply chains.
