Adani Group and Google have announced a partnership to advance sustainability and expand clean energy initiatives in India.
As part of this collaboration, Adani will supply renewable energy from a new solar-wind hybrid project located in Gujarat state of India. The project is expected to commence commercial operations by the third quarter of 2025.
“With proven capabilities in delivering large scale wind, solar, hybrid and energy storage projects, Adani is well-positioned to provide customised renewable energy solutions to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers to meet their energy requirements and reduce their carbon footprint,” said a press release.
Adani’s future strategy includes an increased focus on the merchant and C&I sectors, aiming to drive decarbonisation across industries in India.

The group also reiterated its intention to intensify its focus on the commercial and merchant sectors to support industrial decarbonisation.
