Caravelle Group appoints new leadership to drive maritime decarbonisation

Singapore’s Caravelle International Group, an ocean technology company, has announced key leadership changes, appointing Shixuan He as Chief Executive Officer and Xuanhua Xi as an independent director and Chairman of the Audit Committee. The appointments mark a step forward in advancing sustainable maritime practices and decarbonisation initiatives. 

Shixuan He, with 15 years of management experience, has led international collaborations in renewable energy and carbon asset development. His background includes smart infrastructure projects and innovative energy solutions, aligning with Caravelle’s sustainability focus. 

Xuanhua Xi, an expert in financial innovation, has held senior roles in major financial institutions, specialising in risk management and capital markets operations. Her extensive experience brings valuable insights to Caravelle’s efforts in integrating finance and sustainability. 

The appointments come as the maritime industry faces growing pressure to address carbon emissions and adopt sustainable practices.  

Maritime decarbonisation is a critical priority for the global shipping industry. Caravelle’s focus on carbon asset management and ocean carbon neutrality aligns with efforts to reduce emissions and promote sustainable growth in the sector.
