Clarity AI launches AI tool for real-time ESG insights

Clarity AI has introduced an artificial intelligence-powered solution aimed at transforming sustainability research for asset managers and investors. The system automates analysis and provides real-time insights, enabling investment teams to move beyond traditional, static research methods.

Conventional ESG research has been criticised for its reliance on fragmented data, outdated third-party reports, and laborious manual processes. Clarity AI’s new tool seeks to address these challenges by offering automatically generated company briefs and an AI Assistant capable of delivering real-time insights across key sustainability factors, including company policies, climate transition plans, ESG risks, and corporate controversies.

“This launch marks a turning point in the industry—AI is no longer just an add-on but a core driver of smarter, faster, and more strategic investment decisions,” said Ángel Agudo, Chief Product Officer at Clarity AI. “From the very beginning, our mission has been to equip decision-makers with the tools to integrate sustainability on their own terms. Now, we are breaking the reliance on outdated, subjective analysis and replacing it with something dynamic, customised, and unbiased, built for today’s investors.”

The AI-powered company briefs update in real time as new data becomes available, removing the delays associated with third-party analyses. Investors can also use the AI Assistant to refine their research, obtaining additional insights within seconds from Clarity AI’s database, which contains over 200,000 company reports.

“What makes Clarity AI truly unique is the expertise behind our technology,” said Marsal Gavaldà, the company’s Chief Technology Officer. “We have built a team that is unmatched in the market—a blend of sustainability experts and top AI engineers who deeply understand the intricacies of sustainability analysis. Our solution is not just about processing data; it’s about turning the complexities of sustainability into a useful and tangible tool for investment decisions.”

Clarity AI has assembled a team of over 200 specialists across AI, data science, finance, and sustainability. Over the past four years, the company has developed a sustainability intelligence platform designed to provide scalable, real-time insights tailored to institutional investors.
