Countdown to Asia’s biggest night in sustainability reporting

In just two weeks, the region’s sustainability community will converge in Singapore for one of the most anticipated events of the year—the 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA) and the Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA). The prestigious ceremony and gala dinner will take place on 24 October 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, honouring Asia’s best sustainability and integrated reports.

Organised annually by CSRWorks International, the awards have earned a reputation as the gold standard for sustainability reporting excellence across the region. Since its inception, ASRA has celebrated organisations that demonstrate outstanding transparency, accountability, and commitment to sustainable business practices.

This year, 81 companies from 15 countries are in the race as finalists for the 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards, competing across 17 award categories that recognise excellence in different aspects of sustainability reporting. In addition, 22 companies from 6 countries are finalists in the 11th Asia Integrated Reporting Awards, which honour organisations leading in value creation and integrated thinking.

Each category offers four levels of recognition — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze — reflecting the highest standards of achievement in reporting excellence. The winners, selected through a rigorous multi-stage evaluation and due-diligence process, will be announced live at the gala event.

Distinguished speakers and guests

The 2025 ceremony will feature an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers and special guests.

  • Terence Quek, Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Institute of Directors, will grace the occasion as Guest of Honour and present the awards to the winners.
  • The evening will open with a special message from H.E. Nikesh Mehta, British High Commissioner to Singapore, underscoring the long-standing support of the British High Commission for ASRA since its inception.
  • Attendees will also hear a keynote address by Dr. Robin Hodess, Chief Executive Officer of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and an address by Cristina Gil White, GRI’s Chief Engagement Officer.
  • A fireside chat featuring Cristina Gil White and Kay Pang, Independent Director and Lawyer, will explore evolving trends in corporate transparency and board-level accountability in sustainability.

Recognising excellence and integrity

The ASRA judging process is renowned for its independence, integrity, and transparency. Reports are evaluated by an expert panel using comprehensive criteria aligned with global standards such as GRI, ISSB, TCFD, SASB and GHG Protocol, among others. Every finalist undergoes a detailed due-diligence review before being confirmed as a winner, ensuring that ASRA continues to set the benchmark for best practices in sustainability reporting.

“ASRA continues to set the benchmark for corporate transparency and responsible reporting across Asia. The 11th edition once again showcases the region’s growing commitment to sustainability excellence,” said Rajesh Chhabara, Founder and Managing Director of CSRWorks International and creator of the awards.

A night to celebrate sustainability leadership

More than just an awards night, ASRA has become a symbol of credibility and aspiration for companies seeking to lead through sustainability. Each year, the event brings together corporate leaders, sustainability professionals, investors, and policymakers to celebrate progress and share inspiration.

Guests can expect an evening of meaningful conversations, networking, and celebration as the region’s most transparent and responsible companies take centre stage.
