Credibl and Deloitte Australia partner to launch ai-driven climate reporting platform

Credibl has joined forces with Deloitte Australia to launch SustainNext Climate Reporting, a new platform aimed at simplifying the growing complexity of climate-related disclosures for Australian businesses.

The partnership combines Credibl’s AI-powered sustainability technology with Deloitte’s 175-year legacy in assurance and sustainability advisory, offering a solution that streamlines compliance and enhances data transparency.

From July 2026, more Australian companies will be required to disclose climate-related financial information in line with the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) framework. The upcoming rules mark a major shift in how organisations gather, verify and report sustainability data.

Traditionally, climate reporting has been fragmented, costly and resource-intensive, with firms struggling to consolidate data and assess climate-related risks across their operations. SustainNext aims to address these challenges by automating data management and integrating compliance under AASB and IFRS standards, helping businesses turn sustainability reporting into a driver of long-term value.

“With Australia’s climate disclosure rules on the horizon, organisations are seeking solutions that provide confidence, speed and resilience,” said Sarah Kinsela, Partner and Sustainability & Climate Leader at Deloitte Australia. “SustainNext Climate Reporting brings together assurance expertise with advanced technology to give businesses a clear path to compliance while laying the foundation for value creation.”

Jitesh Shetty, CEO and Co-Founder of Credibl, added: “Climate reporting is one of the most urgent priorities for businesses, yet it remains one of the most resource-intensive. SustainNext combines Deloitte’s credibility with Credibl’s AI platform to deliver clarity, automation and scale — enabling companies to meet today’s requirements while preparing for the opportunities ahead.”

The collaboration underscores both companies’ shared commitment to helping organisations navigate Australia’s evolving sustainability landscape with intelligence, assurance and precision.
