DHL Group and Westwing are expanding their long-standing partnership to deliver faster and more sustainable shipping across Germany, with plans to support Westwing’s wider European growth.

Under the expanded agreement, Westwing will use DHL’s GoGreen Plus service, enabling deliveries with reduced transport-related greenhouse gas emissions. All DHL-fulfilled Westwing parcels will also use paper-based packaging, limiting plastic use, while DHL will handle a larger share of Westwing’s parcel volumes.

DHL’s Post & Parcel Germany division has worked with Westwing for several years, with DHL now identified as the retailer’s premium delivery partner in Germany following market research aligned with Westwing’s premiumisation strategy.

The GoGreen Plus service uses insetting and a “book and claim” system to cut emissions by investing in lower-carbon logistics solutions across the supply chain, including electric delivery vehicles, sustainable fuels and renewable energy, even when shipments are not physically moved using those assets.

The partners are also expanding flexible last-mile options. Westwing customers in Germany can now choose pick-up and drop-off (PUDO) delivery to lockers and collection points for permanent assortments, with the service set to extend to non-permanent assortments later this year.

To support faster deliveries, DHL has invested in a new International Logistics Center in Poland, located close to Westwing’s European Logistics Center near Poznań. The facility is expected to shorten transport times and enable delivery to German customers in as little as two days for some orders.

DHL said the partnership supports customer demand for lower-emission delivery, while Westwing said the expanded collaboration strengthens both operational performance and sustainability as it scales across Europe.
