ERM, a global sustainability consultancy, has expanded its collaboration with Salesforce by becoming a global tier-one advisory and implementation partner for the company’s Net Zero Cloud platform.
The partnership will see ERM provide strategic and technical support to companies using Net Zero Cloud, a digital tool designed to centralise and automate sustainability data across business operations and supply chains. The platform aims to assist organisations in managing environmental data, closing reporting gaps, and improving the accuracy of emissions tracking.
Gerard Spans, Global Head of Digital Services at ERM, said: “Corporate decarbonisation efforts have shifted from setting long-term goals to finding ways to accelerate action to not only meet those ambitious targets, but to unlock measurable business value.”
“Working together, ERM and Salesforce will enable companies to integrate sustainability into their operations, helping them to enhance business resilience and drive competitive advantage,” he added.
ERM supports its clients in using Net Zero Cloud for a range of sustainability functions, including data compilation, materiality assessments, target setting, benchmarking, and value chain analysis. The consultancy has already implemented the platform for over a dozen companies across sectors such as utilities, energy, technology and manufacturing.
Prashanthi Sudhakar, Head of Product for Net Zero Cloud at Salesforce, said: “At Salesforce, we believe that sustainability and digital transformation go hand in hand. Net Zero Cloud enables companies to connect, automate, and act on their sustainability data—turning insights into meaningful action.”
“We look forward to scaling our partnership with ERM to help companies not only meet their climate commitments but also improve financial ROI, resilience, and long-term value,” she said.
The strengthened collaboration comes as more companies face regulatory and investor pressure to provide reliable, transparent climate data and demonstrate progress on net zero commitments.
