FI Sweden appoints new Head of Sustainable Finance

Emilia Högquist has been appointed as the new Head of Sustainable Finance at Finansinspektionen (FI), Sweden’s Financial Supervisory Authority. With extensive experience in sustainable development, she joins FI from her recent role in a leadership position at the Ministry of Climate and Enterprise. In her new role, Högquist will serve as FI’s spokesperson on sustainability-related issues.

“Financial firms play a central role in sustainability work. I am looking forward to implementing together with my colleagues our assignment to promote financial firms’ contribution to sustainable development. Our cooperation within the EU is important, and the work with the new regulations that will steer sustainable work within the finance sector in different ways will continue to be a top priority for us”, says Emilia Högquist, Head of Sustainable Finance at FI.

Emilia Högquist started in her new role on 12 August.
