Hegelmann Express GmbH, a European transport and logistics company, has announced a strategic partnership with German software provider osapiens to implement a comprehensive suite of digital ESG compliance solutions. The collaboration marks a significant step forward in Hegelmann’s sustainability efforts, aiming to enhance transparency, responsible business conduct, and regulatory alignment across its operations.
The digital rollout includes several core components:
- A Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) tracking and greenhouse gas management system
- A sustainability reporting platform compliant with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- A due diligence system prepared for the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)
- A multilingual whistleblowing platform aligned with the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive
The initiative, led by Hegelmann’s Sustainability and Compliance teams, is designed to embed ESG standards into the company’s logistics workflows through an intelligent, centralised, and AI-driven platform. Following a comprehensive market review, Hegelmann selected osapiens as its long-term technology partner due to the scalability, regulatory expertise, and usability of its software suite.
The integrated solution enables Hegelmann to assess ESG risks across its supply chain, automate reporting and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with emerging EU regulatory frameworks. A key feature is a secure whistleblowing tool, offering anonymous and multilingual reporting channels for employees and subcontracted drivers throughout Europe.
