Rohrer launches sustainable packaging line with 30% recycled content

US-based Rohrer Corporation has launched a new sustainable product line, EcoVolve™. The line’s first release, EcoVolve-30™, is a durable paperboard product made from a mix of virgin fibres and 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) fibres, offering brands a high-quality option that supports environmental goals.

This eco-friendly coated-one-side (C1S) blister board allows brands to promote their sustainability efforts by displaying the 30% PCR content directly on their packaging. Key features of EcoVolve-30™ include robust construction for demanding applications, exceptional print performance for vibrant branding, and alignment with sustainability standards, meeting both FDA compliance and FSC certification.

Tim Swanson, CEO of Rohrer said, “At Rohrer, we recognise the critical role we play in helping our partners achieve their sustainability goals. With EcoVolve, we’re offering a solution that blends performance and sustainability, allowing brands to enhance their eco-friendly credentials without sacrificing quality.”

Scott Sumser, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, further highlighted the strategic advantages for brands and said, “This launch strengthens Rohrer’s leadership in sustainable packaging innovation, providing an ideal solution for brands aiming to enhance their sustainability credentials. By using EcoVolve-30™, brands can prominently display the 30% PCR claim on their packaging, helping to elevate their branding and connect with consumers who prioritize environmental responsibility.”
