Schneider Electric names Esther Finidori as Chief Sustainability Officer

Schneider Electric has appointed Esther Finidori as its new Chief Sustainability Officer, effective 1 June 2025. She has joined the company’s Executive Committee and takes responsibility for advancing its sustainability strategy, with a focus on aligning environmental and social initiatives with core business priorities.

Finidori brings extensive experience in sustainability and strategic operations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of France Operations Strategy at Schneider Electric, where she led commercial strategy, sales excellence, and circular economy programmes. She has also held several roles within the company’s sustainability division, including Group Environment VP, where she was key in implementing environmental policies that helped bolster Schneider’s position as a sustainability leader.

Prior to joining Schneider Electric in 2016, Finidori worked as an environmental consultant, focusing on climate change and the energy transition. She holds a Master of Science in Engineering from École Centrale Paris and a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School.
