Sipchem partners with Achilles to strengthen ESG and supply chain performance

Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) has partnered with supply chain risk and performance management firm Achilles to enhance its sourcing practices, improve supplier oversight, and advance its ESG ambitions.

The collaboration will see Sipchem implement Achilles’ supplier prequalification and performance management platform, a move designed to boost supply chain transparency, identify high-performing vendors, and ensure alignment with international ESG benchmarks.

“Sipchem is focused on building a responsible and transparent supply chain that supports our broader ESG goals and drives long-term value,” said Naif Al-Baloushi, Section Head of Supplier Relationship Management at Sipchem. “Achilles provides the insight, structure, and global expertise needed to strengthen our supplier network and ensure we’re collaborating with partners who align with our high standards.”

By leveraging Achilles’ tools, Sipchem will gain access to improved supplier data, enhanced risk controls, and real-time visibility into sustainability metrics—factors that are expected to drive smarter procurement decisions and support ongoing operational improvements.

Craig Rodgerson, CEO of Achilles, welcomed the agreement, stating: “We’re proud to support Sipchem in building a more resilient and sustainable supply chain. Our collaboration reflects a shared commitment to transparency, performance, and driving measurable impact across the value chain.”
