Sri Lanka and Malaysia emerged as standout performers at the 11th Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA), held in Singapore.
Organised by CSRWorks International, AIRA is Asia’s most prestigious recognition for excellence in integrated reporting, celebrating organisations that demonstrate exceptional reporting practices by connecting sustainability performance with long-term value creation.
This year’s competition featured 22 finalists from six countries — India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, and Vietnam — reflecting the growing adoption of integrated reporting principles across Asia.
Among the winners, Talawakelle Tea Estates of Sri Lanka earned the Platinum Award for Asia’s Best Integrated Report (Large Company), while Yinson Holdings of Malaysia received Gold, and the Philippines’ Metro Pacific Investments Corporation and First Gen Corporation took home Silver and Bronze, respectively.
In the SME category, Sri Lanka led again with Oxford College of Business and Alumex PLC winning Platinum and Gold, while Malaysia’s Salcon Berhad claimed Silver.
In the Public Sector category, the Development and Investment Bank of Türkiye won the Platinum Award, followed by Baoviet Holdings of Vietnam with Gold.
The Asia’s Best Integrated Report (First-Time) category recognised emerging leaders in integrated reporting. Manila Electric Company (Meralco) of the Philippines received the Platinum Award, ENERJİSA ÜRETİM of Türkiye earned Gold, Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad of Malaysia won Silver, and Cebu Air Inc. of the Philippines took Bronze.
“The AIRA winners are redefining corporate transparency and long-term value creation through integrated thinking,” said Rajesh Chhabara, Managing Director of sustainability consulting firm CSRWorks International, and the founder of Asia Integrated Reporting Awards.
The Asia Integrated Reporting Awards continues to serve as a benchmark for excellence in integrated reporting, encouraging organisations to communicate more effectively about how they create, preserve, and deliver value over time.
