European growth equity investor Verdane has announced a partnership investment in Ashcourt Group, a UK-based provider of waste management and sustainable construction materials.
Ashcourt Group serves the construction sector across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East of England, offering recycled and virgin aggregates, waste recycling services, ready-mix concrete, haulage and plant hire. The business operates a broad network of strategically located sites supported by an established logistics infrastructure.
The company processes and recycles several million tonnes of material each year, collecting and sorting waste from construction and demolition activities as well as commercial, industrial and municipal sources. Through its facilities, Ashcourt produces a range of sustainable aggregate products, including washed sands and pipe bedding materials.
Its recycled materials are designed to provide cost-effective and high-quality alternatives to virgin aggregates, supporting clients in meeting environmental targets while maintaining competitiveness. By diverting waste from landfill and reducing reliance on the extraction of new raw materials, the company contributes to lower carbon emissions across the construction value chain.
Verdane said the investment will support Ashcourt’s next phase of growth, enabling operational improvements and geographic expansion, and broadening access to sustainable construction materials across the UK.
