Zevero launches AI-powered ESG reporting tool

Zevero, a carbon management platform, has launched a new ESG Disclosure Reporting solution aimed at simplifying sustainability reporting across major global frameworks, including B Corp, CDP, and the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

The launch comes amid growing regulatory pressure and rising stakeholder expectations for transparency on ESG performance. Zevero’s new tool seeks to address the reporting challenges faced by companies—particularly the resource-intensive and often manual nature of current processes—by automating data extraction and offering expert validation.

“We created this offering to eliminate the complexity and inefficiency that teams face when reporting ESG performance,” said Shigeo Taniuchi, CEO of Zevero. “By streamlining the entire process, we’re enabling growing businesses to meet their obligations confidently and with far less effort.”

The platform uses artificial intelligence to extract and interpret data from internal documents such as sustainability reports, policies, and governance records—irrespective of the document’s original language. It then auto-generates responses aligned with leading ESG standards. All outputs are reviewed by Zevero’s in-house sustainability experts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Key features of the tool include:

  • AI-enabled data extraction and auto-populated qualitative and quantitative responses
  • Multilingual functionality supporting over 100 languages
  • Expert review and validation
  • Customised reports ready for submission to relevant ESG frameworks

According to Zevero, the tool has demonstrated average time savings of over 40%, while maintaining data accuracy above 90%, based on internal trials and early user feedback.

In contrast to traditional approaches that often require manual input or external consultants, Zevero’s solution is designed to be scalable and accessible for teams of any size. It supports a range of reporting needs, from regulatory compliance under the UK’s Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) framework to investor queries and supplier disclosures.

“Our customers—from fast-growing consumer brands to global manufacturers—told us they needed a simpler way to manage ESG reporting,” added Taniuchi. “We’re proud to offer a solution that’s fast, accurate, and accessible to teams of any size.”
