Japan govt. to support 30 MW offshore wind project

Marubeni Corp, a Japanese trading company, will receive support from the Japanese government for its 30 MW floating offshore wind demonstration project. The project is expected to become operational in 2029 and features two wind turbines, each with a capacity of over 15 MW.

The project is being funded under the Green Innovation Fund Project of Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
