Siemens, Boson partner over waste-to-energy conversion

Boson Energy and Siemens AG have signed an MoU to collaborate on technology converting non-recyclable waste into clean energy.

The partnership aims to enhance local energy security sustainably, supporting hydrogen-powered electric vehicle charging infrastructure while maintaining grid stability and consumer price stability.

Boson Energy targets over 300 plants by 2030, producing 1 million tonnes of circular hydrogen from waste annually, potentially avoiding up to 30 million tons of CO₂ emissions yearly. As a technology partner, Siemens will support Boson Energy with technology integration, digital services, and software optimisation for scalable, repeatable solutions in manufacturing and operations.
