Bain & Co. appoints new Global Sustainability Practice Leader

Bain & Company has announced the appointment of Jean-Charles van den Branden as its new Global Sustainability Practice Leader. Jean-Charles, based in Brussels, formerly served as Bain’s EMEA Sustainability Practice Leader. In his new role, he will continue to prioritise sustainability on the global business agenda, focusing on integrating emerging technologies and AI into Bain’s sustainability services.

Jean-Charles has a wealth of experience in developing sustainability strategies for major companies in consumer products, industrial sectors, and energy and natural resources. He also has significant expertise in private equity climate investments.

Jean-Charles succeeds François Faelli, now Bain’s Global Head of Capabilities.

Bain’s Sustainability practice has developed a network of partnerships with leading players in the sustainability sector, giving clients access to advanced platforms in areas such as decarboniation and circularity. With Jean-Charles at the helm, Bain & Company is poised to further enhance its sustainability efforts and continue delivering innovative solutions to clients worldwide.
