DHL & Envision partner for sustainability in logistics and aviation

Envision Group, a global green technology company, has entered into a strategic partnership with logistics giant DHL Group. This collaboration is focused on four main areas: enhancing logistics solutions, expanding the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), promoting green energy, and jointly developing a Net Zero Industrial & Logistic Park.

Under this partnership, Envision will supply DHL with SAF, aiding DHL’s goal to increase its SAF mix to 30% by 2030. This initiative targets a reduction in carbon emissions and supports the broader decarbonisation of the aviation industry. Additionally, DHL will become the preferred logistics partner for Envision, assisting in Envision’s international expansion.

The partnership also plans to construct a Net Zero Industrial & Logistic Park, which aims to serve as a model for integrating clean energy solutions across various industries, including electric vehicle and battery manufacturing. This development is set to expand globally with DHL’s support, promoting zero-carbon transformation.

Lei Zhang, Chairman of Envision Group said, “The aviation sector is currently trailing targets largely due to high costs associated with green hydrocarbons and their derivatives. Envision, through systematic innovation, can reduce cost and revolutionise the production of SAF at scale. The development of this “new oil” will support global efforts towards carbon neutrality.”

Tobias Meyer, CEO of DHL Group, “Together, we will lead the change in integrating green technologies and optimising supply chains, setting new benchmarks for sustainable innovation and global environmental impact through the energy transition.”
