Cority’s kit to help companies meet EU’s sustainability reporting mandates

Cority, a leading provider of environmental, health, safety (EHS), and sustainability software, has released its CSRD Enablement Kit. This solution is designed to help organisations meet the stringent requirements of the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will affect companies operating within or linked to the EU from 2025.

The kit offers a tailored approach to meet diverse organisational needs throughout the reporting process. It includes optional software features such as standards-aligned reporting templates and advisory services, including analysis, auditing, and consulting support.

Introduced by the EU in early 2023, the CSRD mandates comprehensive sustainability reporting that evaluates both the environmental and societal impacts of organisations and how sustainability issues affect financial performance. Reporting requirements will begin on January 1, 2025, for listed companies covered under the EU’s existing non-financial reporting directive and those meeting specific criteria.

Cority’s enablement kit stands out for its flexibility, offering clients a range of services—from comprehensive support to standalone software solutions—that can be scaled as reporting needs evolve.

Cority’s offering is built upon a proven track record in double materiality projects, a key requirement of CSRD, and draws on its extensive resources. With a library of templates based on European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) standards, clients are equipped with industry-recognised tools that simplify the reporting process.

“The world has only a year of experience with CSRD deployment: it’s a science in the making. Sharing best practices, training stakeholders, and capitalizing on knowledge are essential. Our Enablement Kit is a testament of our commitment to empower organizations to meet the stringent requirements of the CSRD,” said Solène Croguennec, director of sustainability consulting at Cority.

Croguennec  added, “This next quarter is critical for companies to get their sustainability reporting strategies in place and our Enablement Kit provides the SaaS and advisory resources they need to do so effectively.”

Cority’s global sustainability advisory team, consisting of 70 experts, is already helping over 400 clients worldwide with sustainability and ESG compliance.

The CSRD Enablement Kit comes with double materiality analysis helping organisations assess critical issues, supporting them with gap analyses and action plans to ensure readiness for reporting. It also includes multiple ESRS templated software that streamlines data collection, management, and analysis, ensuring accurate, reliable data and assists in generating ready-to-submit CSRD reports, including XBRL-tagged documents for submission to European regulators. The kit also offers tailored support and tools for gathering documentation, answering audit questions, and mitigating risks to ensure a smooth audit process.

With the first wave of CSRD reporting deadlines on the horizon, companies are feeling the pressure to align with the new standards. Cority’s Enablement Kit helps organisations prepare early, allowing them to establish robust reporting processes before the 2025 deadline.

The CSRD Enablement Kit is now available to both current and prospective Cority customers, further strengthening the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge sustainability tools and expertise.
