Entries open for Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards

Entries are now open for the 2024 Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA), organised by CSRWorks International, a global sustainability consulting and training organisation.

Celebrating its 10th year, ASRA is a leading global award recognising excellence in sustainability reporting, corporate transparency, and disclosure. This non-profit initiative aims to honour outstanding sustainability leaders while fostering best practices and collaborative learning in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.

ASRA runs alongside the Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA), with organisations of all sizes, including government bodies, eligible to participate. The awards cover multiple categories, allowing organisations to submit up to seven entries per report. Separate submissions are required for AIRA, which celebrates excellence in integrated reporting and has become a powerful platform for sharing best practices, benchmarking, and peer learning.

Winners will receive Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, with the top recognition going to the Report of the Year. An independent jury will conduct a rigorous review process to determine the winners.

The deadline for submissions is November 10, 2024, with finalists announced in the third week of December 2024.

Rajesh Chhabara, Managing Director of CSWorks and founder of ASRA and AIRA said, “The awards do not just identify the best sustainability and integrated reporting efforts but also act as a dynamic hub for sharing best ESG practices, benchmarking, and collaborative learning. Winning reports would demonstrate how companies strive to apply sustainable and integrated thinking to their business model to create value over time for shareholders and stakeholders.”

E Ink Holdings Inc of Taiwan was the winner of ASRA 2023 in the large company category of Aisa’s best sustainability report while Sacon Berhad of Malaysia won in the SME category, Indorama Corporation of Singapore won in the private company category and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk won in the public sector.

The 2023 winners for AIRA included Japan’s MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. (large company, Malaysia’s Salcon Berhad (SME) and Vietnam’s Baoviet Holdings (public sector).
