BNP Paribas debuts on London Stock Exchange with 4 ESG equity ETFs

BNP Paribas Asset Management, a leading provider of UCITS ETFs in Europe, has marked its first-ever ETF listings on the London Stock Exchange. The company introduced four ESG-focused equity ETFs, all sub-funds of its ICAV, which was launched in early 2023, complementing its French and Luxembourg SICAVs. This move aims to expand BNPP AM’s international client base by leveraging the UK’s robust ETF market, enhancing its global presence.

The new ETFs cover a range of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) themes, offering a diversified selection of products that align with varying client preferences, from light to dark green investments, including SRI PAB and thematic options.

In conjunction with these listings, BNPP AM has appointed Miriam Breen as the ETF & Index UK and Ireland Sales Manager to bolster its expansion efforts.

Lorraine Sereyjol-Garros, Global Head of Business Development ETF & Index Solutions said, “These landmark listings mark the realisation of a journey two years in the making, which began when we decided to set up the ICAV, and are the result of an important collective effort across BNPP AM. The UK is an integrally important market for us and listing on the LSE will allow us to have a much broader reach. I am very excited to welcome Miriam, who will help support business expansion on the ground. Her wealth of experience will help to harness this momentum and drive our ETF journey into even greater territory in the coming months and years.”
