6 companies dominate the finals of 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards

The 11th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA 2025) have unveiled this year’s finalists, and several standout companies are dominating the leaderboard with multiple finalist positions across various award categories.

Leading the pack are Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) and Cathay Financial Holding, each achieving finalist status in seven categories, underscoring their consistent leadership in sustainability reporting and corporate transparency.

Close on their heels are ASUSTeK Computer Inc. and City Developments Limited, both finalists in six categories, while Mahindra Group, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, PT PLN (Persero), and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand each earned a finalist spot in five categories.

“These companies have demonstrated outstanding breadth and depth in their sustainability reporting. Their consistency across multiple areas sets a high bar for the region,” said an ASRA spokesperson.

Altogether, 81 companies from 15 countries have made it to the finals, reflecting the expanding influence and credibility of the ASRA platform as Asia’s most prestigious benchmark for sustainability reporting excellence.

Yet, being a finalist doesn’t guarantee victory. Each award category will ultimately honour just four winners — Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze — when results are revealed on 24 October in Singapore at a gala awards ceremony.

“Finalists in multiple categories are certainly strong contenders,” the spokesperson added, “but history shows that a dark horse can emerge from anywhere and walk away with the top honours.”

The suspense is building as Asia’s sustainability community awaits the announcement of the winners who will take home the coveted ASRA trophies and cement their place among the region’s reporting elite.
