Angeleno Group has announced an investment in NESTEC, a manufacturer and service provider of industrial air pollution control (APC) systems, to support the company’s expansion across new markets and geographies.
The funding will enable NESTEC to grow in sectors including renewable fuels, packaging, municipal waste, biomass, engineered wood products, food and beverage, construction materials and semiconductors, while also accelerating product development initiatives.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in eastern Pennsylvania, NESTEC designs, manufactures, installs and services state- and federally regulated air emissions control systems targeting volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), PM2.5, acid mist emissions and odour control. Its solutions are deployed across advanced manufacturing and industrial facilities, helping customers meet regulatory standards, including Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) requirements.
The company has more than 150 installed systems and generates recurring revenue through maintenance, upgrades, parts and services across both greenfield and replacement projects. NESTEC operates in over 35 US states and Canada.
Anil Tammineedi, Partner at Angeleno Group, said NESTEC operates in a “needs-driven market where reliability, uptime, and industry experience are absolutely critical,” adding that its engineering capabilities and cost-efficient systems position it to support more sustainable industrial operations amid growing domestic manufacturing.
Danny Jaffe, Partner at Angeleno Group, said the company demonstrates that “rigorous emissions control, meaningful energy conservation, and cost reduction are complementary goals, not competing ones,” highlighting the environmental and economic benefits of its solutions.
Jim Nester, Founder and Chief Executive of NESTEC, said the partnership would help expand the company’s platform into new industries and regions. “Our drive has always been to deliver the most effective, reliable and economical air pollution control solutions… Working with Angeleno Group will help us expand our platform to bring that mission into new end markets and geographies,” he said.
Jaymie Deemer, President of NESTEC, added that Angeleno’s sector-focused capital and network would support responsible growth while maintaining the company’s technical standards and customer focus.
