Broadridge Financial Solutions has partnered with ESG software firm Novisto to offer an integrated platform aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of corporate sustainability data management and reporting.

The collaboration comes amid mounting regulatory and investor scrutiny on non-financial disclosures, as global jurisdictions move towards mandatory reporting under frameworks such as the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). By merging Broadridge’s experience in corporate issuer services with Novisto’s ESG technology, the partnership will deliver a comprehensive solution for collecting, analysing, and disclosing sustainability-related information.

Ryan Wade, General Manager at Broadridge Corporate Issuer, noted that the partnership responds to the growing need for companies to capture and communicate material sustainability data effectively. “With continued focus from investors and regulators globally on sustainable business models, it’s imperative that companies implement effective means to capture, analyse and report on material sustainability data,” he said.

The new offering aims to streamline ESG reporting by supporting companies through the full reporting cycle—addressing third-party questionnaires, rating agency standards, and supply chain transparency—while enabling internal benchmarking and strategic decision-making.

Broadridge, which supports over 3,400 public companies in the US with proxy communications, governance, and regulatory filings, will expand its sustainability service portfolio through this collaboration. The move is also timely, as more than 30 jurisdictions have committed to implementing ISSB-aligned reporting by November 2024, according to the IFRS Foundation.

Charles Assaf, Chief Executive of Novisto, remarked that the collaboration sets “a precedent for streamlining corporate reporting processes,” citing the importance of technology in meeting growing demands for accurate and standardised ESG disclosures.

As sustainability reporting becomes a central pillar of corporate governance and compliance, the Broadridge-Novisto partnership aims to equip firms with the tools to navigate evolving standards while maintaining transparency and accountability to stakeholders.
