Climate Impact Partners appoints Ryan King as Chief Growth Officer

Climate Impact Partners has appointed Ryan King as Chief Growth Officer, as the company steps up its go-to-market strategy amid growing demand for high-quality carbon market solutions.

In his new role, King will lead the Marketing and Client Solutions teams, bringing together brand, demand generation, solution design and client success. The move is aimed at creating a more integrated approach to serving Climate Impact Partners’ global client base, while simplifying how organisations take responsibility for their emissions and channel finance to high-impact climate projects.

King joins from UNDO Carbon, an enhanced rock weathering specialist and participant in Climate Impact Partners’ Accelerate CDR Programme. As Chief Commercial Officer and a member of the executive team over the past four years, he played a central role in shaping UNDO’s commercial strategy, products and partnerships, helping position the company as a leader in carbon removal. During his tenure, he led one of the largest carbon removal agreements to date with Microsoft, alongside deals with Barclays and McLaren.

Sheri Hickok, Chief Executive Officer of Climate Impact Partners, said the appointment underlines the company’s growth ambitions. “By integrating Marketing and Client Solutions under Ryan’s leadership, we will accelerate how we deliver for our clients, from first engagement through to measurable climate outcomes. His deep experience in carbon removal and scaling climate-focused businesses will be critical as we expand our market presence.”

Before joining UNDO Carbon, King held senior leadership roles at S&P Global, where he led large-scale commercial transformations and global market development initiatives. He also brings experience in rapid operational scaling from HelloFresh, where he helped expand the UK business nationwide within five months of launch.

Commenting on his appointment, King said he was drawn to Climate Impact Partners’ technical rigour and integrity in the carbon markets. “I am excited to lead this integrated team to help clients unlock their climate goals and to ensure carbon finance continues to support high-quality climate solutions worldwide,” he said.

The appointment reflects Climate Impact Partners’ continued focus on shaping the next phase of growth, maturity and impact in the global carbon markets.
