Daikin Applied has introduced the SWP J-Vintage, a new self-contained HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system utilising the low-global warming potential R-32 refrigerant, designed to significantly reduce carbon emissions in commercial environments.
The SWP J-Vintage is designed for varied building types, specifically targeting floor-by-floor installations in residential high-rises and mid-rise office buildings, with the capacity to accommodate 1-2 units per floor. Its modular design simplifies transport and installation, easily fitting through standard 34-inch doorframes and reducing disruptions during retrofit projects.
Furthermore, the introduction of R-32 refrigerant not only minimises the system’s environmental footprint but also enhances its efficiency. The SWP J-Vintage also integrates Daikin’s MicroTech controls and a standardised ECM fan array, which collectively enhance its operational efficiency and reliability. These advancements position the SWP J-Vintage as a premier choice for property managers and building owners looking to upgrade to more sustainable and cost-effective HVAC systems.
