DyStar recognised for workplace safety achievements at 2025 P2K3 Awards

DyStar Colours Indonesia’s Gabus Plant has been recognised at the 2025 Provincial Occupational Safety and Health (P2K3) Awards, receiving three awards from the Banten Provincial Government for its performance in workplace safety and health.

The facility, DyStar’s largest manufacturing site in Indonesia, was awarded the Platinum Award for Zero Accidents (2018–2024), the Gold Award from the Committee of Occupational Safety & Health Development (P2K3), and the Silver Award for HIV & AIDS Prevention Programme.

The Platinum Award acknowledges the Gabus Plant’s record of 3.1 million work hours over six years without a reported accident. The Gold Award highlights the plant’s adherence to national occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, particularly the maintenance of an effective internal safety and health committee. The Silver Award recognises the company’s efforts to implement HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention initiatives in the workplace.

Senior representatives from DyStar, including Clement Yang, Vice President of Global Manufacturing, and Sunarto Djuardi, Regional Vice President for Southeast Asia, noted the significance of these achievements in maintaining health and safety standards across operations since production began at the Gabus facility in 1997.

The P2K3 Awards are part of an annual initiative by regional authorities in Indonesia to promote adherence to workplace safety laws and to commend companies that demonstrate exemplary performance in OHS.
