EFRAG launches online ESRS knowledge hub to support sustainability reporting

EFRAG has unveiled the ESRS Knowledge Hub, an online platform designed to help companies and stakeholders navigate the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and related guidance.

The hub consolidates, for the first time, all key ESRS materials in one place. It provides access to the adopted 2023 ESRS, the simplified ESRS approved by the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board in November 2025, the voluntary SME standard (VSME), and a range of implementation documents. Interactive features are available for the 2023 ESRS and the VSME standard, with similar functionality planned for the simplified ESRS once adopted by the European Commission.

EFRAG said the platform is intended to improve accessibility and usability by offering clearer navigation, links to EU legislation and international standards, and visibility into ongoing standard-setting discussions in EFRAG SRB and SR TEG meetings. It also includes historical content and external references to provide context for users.

Patrick de Cambourg, Chair of the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board, said: “The launch of the ESRS Knowledge Hub represents a significant milestone in the accessibility and coherence of the sustainability reporting landscape… supporting consistent implementation of the ESRS and enhancing transparency for all stakeholders.”
