ABOUT THE TRAINING
CSRWorks International is an IFRS-licensed provider of the ISSB Standards Training Course.
The main purpose of this training is to build necessary professional skills and knowledge to apply the ISSB Standards (known as IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards) to prepare a sustainability report. The ISSB Standards comprise two standards: IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures. These standards, introduced by the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS), aim to establish a global baseline for sustainability-related financial disclosures.
The IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards mandate that companies report sustainability-related risks and opportunities in their financial reports. Market regulators worldwide are anticipated to adopt these standards, requiring companies to disclose this information. Therefore, companies must develop the necessary skills and capabilities to apply the standards consistently and with high quality in preparing their reports.
