Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies has signed a strategic partnership with GSE to support the decarbonisation of industrial and commercial real estate assets across France.
Under the agreement, Hoffmann Green’s clinker-free, cold-produced cement solutions will be integrated into commercial real estate projects developed by GSE, including logistics platforms, industrial buildings and data centres. The partnership includes a volume commitment and is intended to accelerate emissions reductions while maintaining the technical performance required for large-scale and complex projects.
GSE, which has nearly 50 years of experience as a general contractor, operates across France and Europe in sectors such as logistics, industrial facilities, offices, laboratories, R&D centres, data centres and parking infrastructure. The group has placed decarbonisation at the core of its strategy and became a mission-driven company in 2023, committing to reducing the environmental footprint of its buildings and supporting clients in adopting lower-carbon practices.
The collaboration is already being implemented through the construction of a 30,000-square-metre logistics platform in Amanlis, in the Ille-et-Vilaine department, where Hoffmann Green’s carbon-free cement solutions are being used.
For Hoffmann Green, the partnership strengthens its presence in the commercial real estate segment, particularly in industrial buildings and data centres, which the company has identified as strategic growth areas for accelerating the environmental transition of the construction sector.
Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann, co-founders of Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, said the partnership demonstrates the suitability of the company’s solutions for large commercial real estate projects and marks a further step in diversifying its target markets.
Roland Paul, President of GSE, said decarbonising projects is central to the group’s mission-driven strategy, adding that the partnership enables GSE to further reduce the environmental impact of its buildings without compromising on quality, timelines or performance.
