British automaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has partnered with tyre manufacturer Pirelli to become the first in the global automotive industry to use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified natural rubber tyres across its entire range of luxury vehicles. This initiative will start with the new Range Rover Electric, involving the transition to over 250,000 FSC-certified tyres annually from Pirelli.
The FSC certification process ensures that the rubber is sustainably farmed to the highest standards. According to a 2023 survey, awareness of the FSC logo and preference for FSC-certified products are growing significantly in the UK.

By choosing Pirelli’s FSC‑certified tyres, we’re offering our clients high‑quality, high‑performance tyres whilst supporting responsible forest management and protecting the communities in our rubber supply chain to drive real progress” said Andrea Debbane, Sustainability director at JLR.
