Kyndryl has been recognised with the Google Cloud Ready – Energy & Carbon designation, becoming one of the first service providers under the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program to support enterprises in developing more energy-efficient IT infrastructure.
The designation highlights Kyndryl’s role in helping organisations assess and manage energy consumption and emissions across IT operations. It comes amid findings from a recent Kyndryl survey, where 90% of respondents said sustainability is a priority in tech modernisation, but only 27% reported measurable outcomes such as reduced emissions.
As part of the partnership, Kyndryl will collaborate with Google Cloud to provide consulting and technical expertise on sustainable IT transformation. Services include energy usage analysis, emissions tracking, and optimisation strategies for cloud workloads. Through its platform, Kyndryl Bridge, organisations can access tools such as the Sustainability Advisor and the LLMOps Framework to reduce emissions and improve AI infrastructure efficiency.
The Energy & Carbon partner program connects businesses with verified partners offering AI-driven solutions to measure and reduce carbon footprints, and is part of Google Cloud’s broader effort to promote sustainable digital transformation.
