Nestlé partners with TNC and Goodwall to scale regenerative agriculture

Nestlé has announced new global collaborations with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Goodwall to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture and encourage young people to enter and lead the future of farming.

The partnerships aim to strengthen the resilience of food systems by supporting farmers to adopt regenerative practices while building a pipeline of next-generation agripreneurs. Nestlé said the initiatives align with its ambition to make regenerative agriculture the norm across its global sourcing footprint.

“Regenerative agriculture is essential to the long-term resilience of our business and the global food system,” said Stephanie Hart, chief operations officer of Nestlé. “By combining TNC’s conservation expertise with Goodwall’s ability to mobilise millions of young people, we can accelerate progress and build a more sustainable future for farmers, communities and the planet.”

Nestlé and TNC will build on their existing collaboration, including the co-development of the Nestlé Agriculture Framework, which sets out the company’s approach to helping farmers improve yields, incomes and environmental outcomes simultaneously. Through the partnership, Nestlé aims to refine and scale its regenerative agriculture efforts and encourage broader industry participation.

Jennifer Morris, chief executive of The Nature Conservancy, said the collaboration would help scale practical, science-based solutions that restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity and strengthen farmer livelihoods.

Alongside this, Nestlé is partnering with Goodwall to engage young people in agriculture through a new, gamified learning curriculum focused on regenerative farming. Delivered via the Goodwall app, the programme will raise awareness, build practical skills and enable young people to collaborate on real-world agricultural challenges, with a focus on entrepreneurship.

“Young people today want to be part of real solutions,” said Taha Bawa, co-founder and chief executive of Goodwall. “This partnership will open new pathways for them to learn, contribute and lead in the shift toward regenerative agriculture.”

The initiatives follow Nestlé’s recent collaboration with the World Farmers’ Organisation, aimed at strengthening climate resilience in food systems through policy advocacy and practical solutions such as regenerative agriculture.

The new partnerships were formally unveiled at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, where Nestlé, TNC and Goodwall leaders discussed how to accelerate the transition to climate-smart, inclusive food systems.
