To address the growing need for green finance expertise in Asia, Singapore Management University (SMU), in collaboration with DBS, has introduced Sustainable Finance in Action, a four-day intensive programme tailored for senior executives. This marks the first sustainable finance course offered by SMU’s Executive Development Office.
The programme combines academic insights with practical applications to cover four key areas of sustainable finance: green, transition, blended, and biodiversity financing. Participants will gain expertise in risk management and sustainability strategies to drive impactful changes in their organizations.
“This programme is designed to equip participants with the insights and tools they need to drive meaningful change within their organisations. We invite all interested leaders to join us in this transformative programme, where they will deepen their knowledge of green finance and contribute to a more sustainable future,” said Dr Flocy Joseph, Senior Deputy Director, SMU Executive Development.
Helge Muenkel, Chief Sustainability Officer of DBS said, “Sustainability challenges profoundly impact business risks and opportunities. Equipping executives with sustainable finance strategies is crucial for fostering resilience and meaningful action. We’re proud to partner with SMU to develop the skills needed for a sustainable transition.”
