Sungrow Hydrogen expands global footprint with major electrolyser shipments

Sungrow Hydrogen Equipment Shipped Globally

Sungrow Hydrogen has completed the delivery of 160MW of alkaline water electrolysis units to the ACME Group green ammonia project in Oman. This shipment represents a key phase in the region’s transition towards renewable energy. The project utilises automated electrolyser assembly and internal production management systems designed to support large-scale utility deployments.

In Europe, the company has provided a 3MW containerised Proton Exchange Membrane system for an off-grid solar-to-hydrogen project in Italy. This installation integrates photovoltaic inverters and battery storage through an intelligent management system. The configuration is intended to manage the fluctuations inherent in renewable energy sources, providing a framework for industrial decarbonisation and clean transport initiatives within the European market.

Simultaneously, a flexible electrolysis system has been dispatched to Brazil to support a hydrogen-natural gas blending trial. The equipment is engineered to handle variable solar power inputs and meets international engineering standards alongside specific Brazilian regulatory certifications. These international deliveries across three continents highlight the company’s ability to navigate varying technical requirements and diverse geographical markets.
