Taiwan leads as Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards celebrate a decade of excellence

Taiwanese companies bag 23 out of 51 accolades

The Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA) marked its 10th anniversary, recognising outstanding achievements in corporate sustainability reporting across the region. Organised by CSRWorks International as a non-profit initiative since 2015, the awards continue to set a benchmark for transparency, accountability, and best practices in sustainability reporting and disclosures.

This year’s ceremony saw a strong showing from Taiwanese companies, which secured 23 out of the 51 awards presented. The competition attracted hundreds of entries from across Asia, with 63 finalists from 13 countries competing across 17 categories. A total of 51 gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded, reflecting the growing commitment to rigorous sustainability reporting in the region.

Key winners include HL Mando Corporation (South Korea) for Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Large Company), Roma (meta) Group Limited (Hong Kong) for Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (SME), Ennovi Holdings Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) for Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Private Company), JSC “Sovereign Wealth Fund” Samruk-Kazyna for Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Public Sector), and Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd. for Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (First-Time Reporting).

The awards highlight transparency, credibility, and meaningful stakeholder engagement in corporate sustainability reporting efforts.

“Celebrating ASRA’s 10th anniversary highlights the remarkable progress in sustainability reporting across Asia,” said Rajesh Chhabara, Founder of the Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards and Managing Director of CSRWorks. “This year’s award-winning sustainability reports set new benchmarks in transparency, accountability, and disclosure. Their quality reflects the growing commitment to rigorous and meaningful sustainability reporting, inspiring others to enhance their own disclosure standards.”

With increasing participation from businesses, ASRA continues to drive improvements in sustainability reporting, fostering corporate responsibility and long-term sustainable growth in the region.
