Entries open for the 12th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards

Entries have opened for the 2026 Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA) and the Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA), marking the 12th edition of the international programmes recognising high-quality sustainability reporting and integrated reporting.

The 2026 awards open against a backdrop of tightening disclosure expectations across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, as organisations respond to the growing adoption of ISSB-aligned standards, heightened investor scrutiny, and an increasing emphasis on decision-useful, credible reporting. In this context, the awards continue to focus on the substance and clarity of disclosures rather than report length or design.

ASRA recognises excellence in sustainability reporting aligned with leading global frameworks, including GRI, ISSB/TCFD, SASB and ESRS, while AIRA evaluates how effectively organisations integrate strategy, governance, performance, and long-term value creation within a single, coherent narrative aligned with the Integrated Reporting Framework.

The awards are open to listed companies, privately held organisations, SMEs, public sector bodies, and not-for-profit entities, with distinct categories designed to ensure fair benchmarking across ownership structures and organisational scale.

Organised by CSRWorks International as a not-for-profit initiative, ASRA and AIRA are positioned as benchmarking and learning platforms rather than purely competitive awards.

“As sustainability reporting expectations continue to converge globally, companies are under increasing pressure to demonstrate how sustainability is embedded into strategy, governance, and decision-making,” the organisers noted.

Submissions for the awards are assessed by an independent panel of sustainability experts using transparent, criteria-based methodologies. Full details on eligibility, categories, and the awards timeline are available on the official website.

The 2026 awards are expected to reflect a maturing reporting landscape, with greater emphasis on strategic integration, comparability, and decision-useful disclosures.
