ABOUT THE TRAINING
The Certified GHG Professional Training Course provides a comprehensive, hands-on approach to GHG accounting and reporting using the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard. Participants will gain practical skills to measure, report, and assure greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across their operations and value chain.

Developed and delivered by experts in GHG measurement, reporting, and assurance, the course integrates learning through real-life case studies and practical examples.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants will:

Understand GHG emissions accounting, principles, and boundaries under the GHG Protocol.
Learn how to identify, measure, and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Apply methodologies for data collection, calculation, and verification of emissions.
Learn best practices for GHG assurance, including Carbon Neutrality and Net Zero, to improve transparency and credibility.
Work through practical case studies and exercises to solidify your knowledge.

TRAINING PROGRAMME
The Certified GHG Professional Training Course consists of five sessions. Participants wanting to earn the Certified GHG Professional Certificate must complete the course (all five sessions) and pass the required assessments.

• Upstream & Downstream Scope 3 Emissions: Understanding the 15 categories of Scope 3 emissions.

• Scope 3 Emissions Calculation Methodologies

• GHG Reduction Strategies & Target Setting – Case Examples
