Industrial certification platform Isometric has expanded its Series A funding round to $50 million following a strategic investment from Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), operator of the New York Stock Exchange and global energy markets.
The deal brings Isometric’s total funding across its seed and Series A rounds to $75 million. The expanded Series A was led by AVP, alongside participation from existing and new investors including Lowercarbon Capital, Plural, John Doerr, Walter Kortschak, Acario Innovation, BY Venture Partners, Dubai Future District Fund, Earth VC, Motion Ventures, One Capital, Plug and Play, Verb Ventures, and Legora founder Max Junestrand.
Isometric operates Certify, an AI-powered verification platform designed to audit and validate sustainability, safety, and regulatory data for industrial, energy, and carbon infrastructure projects. By integrating independent verifiers with automated workflows, the platform accelerates data verification processes for project developers seeking regulatory permits, off-take agreements, and capital investment.
Key operational metrics and expansion details include:
- Market traction: Isometric has secured contracts to certify over 16 million tonnes of carbon removal to date, representing the largest contracted volume for a single certifier within the carbon removal sector.
- Corporate client base: The company’s certification frameworks cover industrial emissions, energy, fuels, and materials, serving over 200 projects globally for corporate clients including Microsoft, Anglo American, Boeing, and JPMorgan Chase.
- Capital deployment: Strategic backing from ICE will support Isometric’s expansion across the industrial economy, combining agentic AI verification tools with international commodity market data infrastructure.
