Solar leader LONGi has officially opened its Center of Excellence (CoE) in Madrid, Spain, a move designed to strengthen localized service for solar-plus-storage projects across Southern Europe. The facility will act as a comprehensive hub, supporting customers through the entire lifecycle of renewable energy assets—from initial project design to long-term operations.
Operating under the “LONGi ONE” strategy, the center provides end-to-end services including installation, commissioning, and spare parts management. By establishing a physical presence in one of Europe’s most active renewable markets, the company aims to offer more responsive technical support and asset optimization for regional partners.
The Madrid CoE integrates LONGi’s signature Back Contact (BC) technology with its patented 5S energy storage systems. This unified framework is intended to reduce operational complexity and enhance the long-term value of solar assets.
The facility also serves as a platform for partner development and technical training, ensuring that local installers and developers can effectively deploy integrated energy solutions.
The opening is the first step in a broader global expansion. By 2028, LONGi plans to establish a network of localized service centers across key international markets to meet the rising global demand for solar and energy storage integration.
