Repsol has annouced that more than 1,000 of its service stations across the Iberian Peninsula now offer 100% renewable Nexa Diesel. As of now, 998 stations in Spain and 63 in Portugal supply the advanced biofuel, positioning Repsol as a leader in the adoption of renewable fuels for everyday mobility.
Nexa Diesel, produced entirely from organic waste, is the most premium renewable diesel available on the Spanish market. Compatible with all diesel engines, the fuel is designed to improve performance, extend engine life, and reduce net CO₂ emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional fossil-based diesel, owing to its significantly lower carbon intensity.
To further encourage uptake, Repsol is offering a €0.10 per litre discount to individual customers refuelling with Nexa Diesel via the company’s Waylet payment app. The offer, which runs from 29 April to 31 July 2025, comes in addition to any discounts applied under Repsol’s existing Energy Plans and applies without any minimum purchase or usage restrictions—effectively matching the price of regular Diesel e+.
“We are proud to have reached this important milestone,” said Valero Marín, Repsol’s Executive Managing Director for Customer Relations. “100% renewable Nexa Diesel is not only our most advanced sustainable fuel but a major step forward in our strategy to reduce CO₂ emissions and expand the range of mobility solutions available to our customers.”
Repsol aims to further scale the availability of Nexa Diesel by expanding the offering to 1,500 stations by the end of 2025, which would cover around 40% of its service station network in Spain and Portugal. The company’s multi-energy approach reflects its commitment to decarbonisation and to providing diverse, sustainable mobility options in line with customer needs.
