Supply chain rating platform EcoVadis has been named a Leader in the 2026 Verdantix Green Quadrant for Supply Chain Sustainability Software for the second consecutive time.
The independent research report places EcoVadis among eight global vendors demonstrating advanced technical capabilities in supply chain sustainability management. Verdantix highlighted the platform’s EcoVadis Vitals module alongside its assessment and scoring tools, which incorporate regulatory compliance tracking to streamline supplier reporting and maintain auditability.
The evaluation noted that EcoVadis serves both small-to-medium and enterprise-scale organisations by connecting sustainability assessments with core procurement and finance workflows. The ecosystem is supported by partner-led, on-site audits and worker voice tools to facilitate human rights due diligence.
Key technical features and operational capabilities recognised in the report include:
- Carbon data network integration: The platform’s Carbon Action Manager connects directly with specialised carbon accounting tools—including carbmee, CO2 AI, Normative, Sweep, and Watershed—allowing primary greenhouse gas data to flow directly into Scope 3 calculation frameworks.
- Hybrid AI and expert verification: The software combines automated artificial intelligence models with manual review by domain-specific sustainability analysts to verify scorecard data prior to buyer distribution.
- Model training framework: In-house sustainability analysts continually fine-tune domain-specific AI models to expand automated capabilities across multi-tier global supply chains.
