Singapore-headquartered clean energy platform PCG Global has completed its Pre-Series A financing round, securing its first external capital in a round led by Temasek-owned decarbonisation investment platform GenZero.
Founded in Singapore by the management team behind Chinese distributed energy operator PCG Power, PCG Global plans to deploy the fresh capital to accelerate project origination and execution across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. The expansion aims to tap into growing regional demand for clean and resilient energy infrastructure driven by net-zero commitments and energy security priorities.
PCG Global leverages the operational background of PCG Power, which possesses over 2 gigawatts of investment, construction, and operational experience. PCG Global currently holds approximately 1.8 gigawatts of projects in various stages of development, spanning distributed solar, utility-scale power plants, behind-the-meter energy storage, and smart energy management platforms. The firm offers end-to-end capabilities across the project lifecycle, including financing, development, operations, maintenance, and carbon asset management.
Li Wenxuan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PCG Power, noted that the successful investment round reflects institutional confidence in the firm’s capacity to deploy proven distributed energy capabilities beyond China.
Kimberly Tan, Head of Investments at GenZero, stated that the investment aligns with GenZero’s strategy to back scalable clean energy solutions globally, highlighting PCG Global’s established track record in fundraising, project development, and operational execution.
